This California couple met in San Francisco, had a surprise proposal on a private boat trip in the Amalfi Coast, and celebrated their marriage together in sunny Los Cabos, Mexico! Teresa & Keith's wedding at Cabo's The Cape Hotel and San Jose's Club Campestre combined their love of adventure and their contemporary style with fun & romance.
They chose to do a Mexico destination wedding for three reasons: 1) They wanted something a little different than the wine country / SF Bay area weddings that they have attended; 2) They both love water and beaches; and 3) They wanted all of their guests to have an amazing experience and really get time to celebrate with everyone for longer than just a few hours at the ceremony and reception.
To that end, they planned a four-day event that included activities throughout Los Cabos such as a scavenger hunt, boat trip, welcome party dinner, and post-wedding-day brunch. Most important to the couple was fun - that they and their guests enjoyed themselves. "What we love about our wedding is it's really US, we can be ourselves," explained the groom. "We can laugh, be silly, be sexy, and just have a blast with each other."
They also had did all they could to make sure their reception was fun! In addition to fire dancers, games, and great lighting on the dance floor, they had what we call the guarantee for great party photos - Kilometro, Cabo's best live band! In our opinion, infusing the reception with the energy of talented live musicians is one of the best investments you can make for your Mexico wedding.
